Different trace packs allow fishos to adapt bait presentation, visibility, hook setups, and bite protection depending on surf conditions, bait size, water clarity, and target species.
Some traces are built around more natural bait presentation, while others use visual attractor systems including floats, teasers, squid skirts, chatterbait skirts, and coloured bead systems designed to improve bait visibility and movement in surf conditions.
Some Quick-Change traces also include an adjustable red stopper bead system that allows visual attractors to slide away from the hook during baiting for easier rigging of larger or awkward baits, then slide back into fishing position once baited.
